This book takes readers on a journey to wild places in Costa Rica, the Arctic, Thailand, Indonesia and others on a quest to understand the plight of wild animals, the heroes that are trying to save them, and the complicated issues around conservation. It is also an emotional journey for the author as she re-connects to and is inspired by the more-than-human world.
